Completely enclosed actuator prevents fluid ingress
-
No compressed air required for valve removal or servicing
Hygienic Excellence
-
Designed to meet 3-A Sanitary Standard 85-02 for PMO compliance
-
Product-contact surfaces are fully cleanable without full valve actuation
-
Integrated flow paths clean the upper balancer during seat lift — no external adapters needed
Theory of Operation
Double seat mixproof valves are designed to enable the safe and simultaneous flow of two different fluids—typically product and CIP—while preventing any risk of cross-contamination. In the fail-safe closed position, the D4PMO valve’s two seats isolate the upper and lower pipelines.
A vented atmospheric cavity between the seats provides dual protection: it acts as a drain in case of seal failure and removes CIP fluid during cleaning cycles. During seat lift movement, integrated flow paths allow CIP to clean exposed product-contact surfaces, including the upper balancer—no external adapters or piping are required. This ensures reliable hygienic separation and efficient CIP performance.
