ECOVENT® DIVERT VALVES
ECOVENT® Series
The ECOVENT® valve series stands out for its compact design, offering a streamlined and space-saving solution. Unlike the VARIVENT® systems that offer a wide range of options, the ECOVENT® series focuses on providing a straightforward and cost-effective solution for standard requirements.
Single-seat shuttle valves feature a single seal for each switching position in the valve disc, effectively separating different pipelines from each other. However, it’s important to note that these single-seat shut-off valves are not suitable for applications where incompatible fluids need to be separated.
- Certified, hygienic configuration
- Metallic stop for added durability
- Flexibility due to the modular principle
- Proven seal geometry for reliable performance
- Availability of two valve series for varied applications
- Single-seat divert valves
- DN 10 – DN 100
- OD 1″ – OD 4″
In practical applications, these valves are commonly utilized in CIP (Clean-in-Place) supply and return lines. They are particularly suitable for use at the end of a valve block, where they function as divert valves, facilitating the transfer of the process line to drainage (for example, during the pushing out process). This specific application demonstrates the versatility and usefulness of these valves in managing fluid flow in various scenarios.
To prevent water hammers when closing one pathway while the product is still flowing, it is recommended to switch single-seat divert valves against the flow direction of the product whenever feasible. This practice helps minimize the potential impact and disturbances caused by sudden
