Slide bearings on disc pivots for improved operating reliability
Visual position indicator shows open/closed valve status at a glance
SVS1F intermediate flange design allows quick valve removal and easy access, even in long or fixed pipelines
Compact construction ideal for installations with space constraints
ATEX-compliant versions available for use in explosive environments
Optional electro-pneumatic control with Bürkert positioner for automated flow control
Simple installation and servicing to reduce downtime and operating costs
Sizing Range
SV1 Valves: DN 25 to DN 150 / 1″ to 4″
SVS1F Valves: DN 25 to DN 250 / 1″ to 6″ OD, 2″ to 6″ Sch5
Operating Principle of SV / SVS Valves
The SV / SVS series valves are butterfly shut-off devices designed to control the flow of liquids in processing pipelines. They operate in two positions:
Open – allows free flow of the product
Closed – completely blocks the flow
Switching between these positions is done by rotating the disc 90°:
In the manual version, the operator turns a handle.
In the pneumatic version, the disc opens using compressed air and closes via the force of an internal spring.
This makes the valve a simple and reliable solution for a wide range of hygienic and industrial processes.
